Description
My idea of fair extensions for next year's leafs.
Trades:
-Dermott and Holl both go. Sandin and Liljegren are seemingly at the point where they can be consistent 2 and 3rd pairing NHL defenceman. I like the idea of Muzzing-Liljegren (although not sure if Lilj has shown he is completely ready), and I really like the idea of sandin-Russian bear as a really solid 3rd pair.
Dermot - 3rd or 4th rounder
Holl - 3rd at least
NOTE - I do not actually believe arizona would trade for both, but there is definitely a fit somewhere.

Mrazek - Waster of cap for the leafs, but apparently there is a decent amount of interest around the league. Buffalo maybe a good fit, they have no goalies whatosever, he could be a starter for them as they continue to rebuild. 3rd and a 5th seems fair.

(3rd might be too much, 4th might be better)

LMK if you think there is an overpay/underpay.

Even with Mrazek, we’d still have ”no goalies whatsoever”
We don’t have interest in him
And if we did… u sure as hell aren’t getting a 3rd
Heck… good luck even getting the 5th
It’s not gonna be from us though

I don’t see Mikheyev coming back, he’ll be looking for as much money as possible and someone will pay him more than the leafs

Fair enough!
I remember seeing reports that there was a lot of interest in the case that the leafs decided to move him a couple weeks ago, so I don't think that the 3rd is a stretch.
Let's be honest, he would be an improvement over what you have currently. I do agree that he isn't a long term starter, but as your rebuild I think he could be a good addition in a tandem.

I always find interesting that fans think they dump 2m Holl and 1.5m Dermot for picks, "because they must go" then the Leafs are able to sign a UFA RHD Lybushin for 1.8m, which supposedly makes them better.
Kinda of interesting the only changes from the current lineup is Mrzarek, Dermot and Holl.
