Crazy what the Sens could have if they draft a RW this draft it's not even the end of the world if they don't as this team looks insane with some very good prospects coming up.

Yeah, but the prospects that could keep coming, like you'd have to insane lines and then more scoring down in the lineup, even picks that people though were really bad a couple of years ago have turned out to be pretty good like Novak, Daoust, Engstrand, Kleven, Kastelic, Lodin. I kind of disregarded the cap after a little bit too.

Don't know what this was for exactly but you forgot several prospects (Sokolov, Crookshank, Mandolese, Roger, etc)

Novak and Engstrand won't be signed. Same as Tychonick and Loheit (any of them receiving a contract would be very surprising)

Abramov might never come back to NA. He'd need to put serious numbers in the KHL (like Dadonov) to get a NHL offer. It probably won't be from Ottawa anyway

I like Watson but don't think he'll get another contract, even if cheap. There's several guys that might deserve 4th line minutes instead : Angus Crookshank, Parker Kelly, Mark Kastelic, Cole Reinhardt, etc. You need to keep spots open and there'll be a gigantic logjam already

White won't be kept if he doesn't have a role on the team, too expensive. It's either they buy him out or he'll be a versatile top-9 forward

Also hope Zaitsev will be gone by then.

Kleven was never considered a bad pick, outside of early knee-jerk reactions from uninformed people. He was ranked #36 pre-draft by TSN/McKenzie, Sens got him at #44

Thanks for mentioning some of the players I forgot, I think Novak could get a contract because he has played extremely well this season for Northeastern so he wouldn't suprise me, as for Tychonick, he might, might, just cause he's got some great chemistry with JBD and a couple other Sens prospects, he's also heated up this last stretch, Engstrand maybe, he is already playing in the SHL and is close, Loheit, is probably out of luck. I'd rather White as a top-9 versatile forward because he can be really good and he is solid both ways, I think that he will end up staying till the length of his contract, Zaitsev, I'm not sure, but he does not have negative value.

Novak is already 23.5 years old though... and 15 pts in 36 games is not very impressive considering that a lot of senior smallish forwards usually go well over PPG in their last college year.

Tychonick has 29 college career points... for an OD, not very impressive as well. Already 22 y/o

Engstrand looks like your typical late pick bust, almost 22 y/o too

Loheit was a bust the moment he was drafted. Anyway, that has been the narrative among the Sens fanbase, not just my opinion

Anyway, we don't need these guys whatsoever. Look at the young guys already on the roster and those I have listed above... another ~12 future NHLers in there
