what crazy person is not on board with this?

given how he has played in 4th line minutes he's been great,

now your buying up a few more development years and ALL of his prime years for 4.5 or less?

not sure how someone is going to see this as a bad bet, but hey, not your team, not your problem I guess,

I feel most canes fans are going to be on board with this

I like our team and wouldn't want to give up any of our young guys..........

but this is one of a few players I would be ok with making a splash for.....

I don’t think schefele is who we should consider. He isn’t overly concerned with 2 way play. His defense is really bad.

I actually think this is a great signing if the Canes can keep getting him on the right path. I miss him on the Habs and I am excited to see him on this team for the next 8 if it happens.
