Lines vs Canucks

I have a strong feeling this game is going to make us regret not trading for Miller. I know his asking price was very high, but if we made an "all-in" move on Fleury, why wouldn't we get a major upgrade at center...?

I think the Wild match up pretty well against the Canucks. They don't play an overly physical game which seems to be our kryptonite this season. Key will be to shut down Hughes and Miller. I do wonder if Dean will shuffle the lines a bit this game if we aren't scoring early, seems like the top line has gotten a little stale and Jost may get his chance to shine.

Miller is awesome. I’ve watched them a fair bit this year and again last night. The guy will do anything to win. I think I respect his game more than almost any player in the league.

And yeah, I think this is a game where we could benefit from it being rough and tumble, since that style doesn’t seem to be their bread and butter.

For sure looking for the top line to have some energy. It’s felt watered down lately. I don’t see Dean shuffling, but I like where your heads at.

And yes, Kaprizov vs Miller is a nice side story, but we all know “Lammikko vs. not Johnny but the other Gaudreau” is the real marquis matchup.

LOL, this will be one tough matchup, Minny is super gritty and heavy, will be a nice playoff-like rematch from the bubble!
