PSA to all NHL fanbases
PSA TO TORONTO:
- No one's paying a star dman like Hughes or Dobson AND a 1st for Marner
- No one's paying a 2nd/3rd for a dman that's yet to play a 30 game season with Toronto
- No one's paying a 1ST for Robertson (Toronto should keep him anyways he'll break out)

What would you pay- Hronek
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GiggywithGibby</b></div><div>Anaheim would be in on him. Edmonton's 1st, Helleson, and pick 65.</div></div>
Seems a bit light. We acquired him for 17+42, I don't think Helleson covers the difference between those picks. Especially to a pacific division rival.

How to fix this team
Garland and Soucy have been huge parts of the Canucks this season. They’re not trading them for an $8M defenseman to play behind Hughes

Paying for 4 major pieces The Vegas way
The Canucks gave up the 17th and a pick in the 40s for Hronek. In terms of value, this offer barely matches that. But from the moment we acquired him to now, his value has skyrocketed, so it’ll cost way more than this.
I’d be in talks to moving him if he were to ask for $8M+, but the pieces I’d be interested in are Fehervary, Leonard, 1st, or Liljegren (dependent on the TOR trade(.

Necas to Vancouver
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>Necas is anything but one-dimentiona LMAO. He's strong, rapid, skilful, had a rapid shot, and you'd get him for 8 years. 8 years of Martin Necas or the mystery box that is Lekkerimaki? Don't be dumb here. You can say you'd rather not do this because you like Lekkerimaki, but to say Vancouver wouldn't have any interest is braindead, especially when it's public knowledge they want Necas.</div></div>
8 years of a will be expensive winger Canucks already have in Boeser or 10+ years of Lekkerimäki who the Canucks can have on ELC during their contention window? Sure they’d have interest but not at that price

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>No, I said I'd be willing to lower the price to Hoglander instead of the 1st, Hoglander isn't anything special.
They want to see what Lekkerimaki is, but they also know they need a genuine linemate for EP40, hence the longstanding interest in Necas. Now Necas has broken out, it's going to cost more, but that's why Vancouver listened when Necas was thrown out there in a package for Pettersson. You think Lekkerimaki's the straw that will break the back when EP40 was someone they had to consider? Really?</div></div>
One dimensional pending RFA Necas or Lekkerimaki for 10+ years?
I'd be willing to lower the price to Hoglander instead of the 1st. So isn't that Hoglander for a 1st? lmao

They would like to see what they have with Lekkerimäki before trading him for someone who will cost $6M+. Hoglander isn’t anything special? You just said he’s the equivalent of a 1st

Only deal that kind of works for both teams is if Hronek prices himself out of VAN and trade him for a package around Necas

Why would they dump Mikheyev? They have no spot for Addison on the blueline, and the $4.75M you're freeing up will just go back to a top 6 replacement who's likely very similar to Mikheyev's production.

Could the Canucks maybe take him for a 2nd + prospect (like Silovs level prospect) and NJD sign Tanev in FA?

That kind of seems too rich for the Canucks. We got a 1st, Raty, and a 5th for Horvat, so it’s kind of like Horvat for Toffoli in a 1 for 1 which we get hosed
