    Not a lot of decent UFA options for top 6 at $2M or less

    Just curious, but do you think anyone is offering Lindholm an 8th year?

    If a team really likes him, I could see that. Or they could go the NYR route with Goodrow and risk not signing him in FA

    A 3rd round pick is kind of an artificial estimate used by Columbus to secure Severson.

    I don’t believe Don Sweeney would be adverse to this or giving up a young player instead of a 3rd rounder if he’s willing to give an 8th year to secure Lindholm.

    I think going to 7 years is likely the number. Maybe he gives up a secondary prospect to sign him before free agency and know his number

    I believe whom they acquire is going to be one of

    1. Sign Elias Lindholm
    2. Trade Ullmark for Pierre Luc-Dubois and other things
    3. Re-Sign Jake DeBrusk
