Could we do Raty, 2024 3rd and 2026 2nd instead? I think this is very much in the ballpark

That kind of seems too rich for the Canucks. We got a 1st, Raty, and a 5th for Horvat, so it’s kind of like Horvat for Toffoli in a 1 for 1 which we get hosed

Can’t see Boston covering the cost difference here. The maximum price considered would be Jake DeBrusk and Fabian Lysell for Elias Lindholm with 850k in retention. Not even sure if they’d do that.

There has always been an opportunity cost here with free agency.

I believe if Boston was open to giving up Ullmark, they could easily win the Toffoli sweepstakes for you and pair him with DeBrusk with some retention. They wouldn’t do that without knowing that Lindholm was going to Boston

The maximum price considered would be debrusk and Lysell? Good luck in the playoffs with coyle as a 1C then. The minimum price would be debrusk, Lysell and a 1st

Well, no, you got Raty, a 1st, and Beauvillier. Just because Beau was always hurt in VAN, you can't just change that for what you then traded him for to dump salary.

keep him then, he's not suddenly going to guarantee the Bs a deep playoff run. the fact that he's looking to flipped already reduces his value to everyone else. and coyle is doing just fine the only spot linholm has him beat is faceoff percentage.

You do realize Coyle has been outplaying Lindholm? Zacha has been outplaying Lindholm?

Boston is in a bridge year. If they believe Lindholm is the guy, they will make the decision to sign him outright in the offseason where the opportunity to play next to Pasta and make more money will be a comsideration.

Boston does not have the goods to complete this for you.
