Description

I just want to hear others opinions but do we keep elias lindholm in terms of having him resign during the offseason.

In the 20ish games hes played in vancouver his offensive output has been underwhelming to say the least. 21 games and 8points for a player that can very possibly demand a 7x7 in the offseason.

Sure his defensive ability has translated over but what if his offensive game does not reach the level it was at in calgary. I wouldnt be confortable paying 7mil to a maybe 40ish points player till he is 37.

In addition this year with curcial free agents such as 2/3s of the third line, zadorov, and hronek needing new contracts, i just think there is better places to spend that 7million. Also the defence needs big work as cole and myers most likely gone after this season.

One thing we can do is dump mikheyev somewhere but that will come at a pretty big cost as there are still two years left of his almost 5mil contract.

I dont know. What are your thoughts

If the cap hit is closer to 6 than 7 Canucks would be more interested

Since Pettersson is extended for 8 more years, I don't see the Canucks keeping Elias Lindholm.
Lindholm is a rental not term.
Maybe a team like Boston might sign Elias Lindholm in the summer.
