How does the cap look

I am trying to figure out how the leafs will be cap-compliant before play-offs hit. Most imminent moves are Campbell and Kase returning. Both of these players are not on LTIR so their cap hit is currently accounted for and Kallgren gets sent down to bring back some cap. Next move is Muzzin returning to action and is taken off LTIR. There is not enough cap for this, so moves must be made. The easiest move is sending Lilijgren down to the minors. This leaves the roster with 13 F, 6 D, 2 G but $475,616 over the cap. Someone has to move and there are 3 things that can happen from what I can see: 1) Mrazek goes down and Kallgren comes up, 2) Holl is waived and the Swedes play, 3) a forward is waived. A quick test shows us that the goalie swap does not allow us to be cap compliant. I highly doubt Holl gets waived at this point, his cap cannot be fully buried (does not remedy our problem), he has played well recently, and has (some) more playoff experience over the swedes. This leads us to a forward being waived. My prediction is that Simmonds goes on waivers and threatens the ol' "I will retire if claimed". It is probably a toss up between Spezza and Simmonds but Simmonds has a higher cap hit and is less noticeable in the lineup (in my opinion). There is also the fall back that if Simmonds gets claimed Clifford can be called up and fill a similar role. I wonder if this explains GMKD's signing of Clifford a few weeks out from the trade deadline. In the end, I think Simmonds gets a paper move to the minors (not eligible to play because he was not waived before the trade deadline) and Sandin stays on LTIR until the playoffs hit. The one flaw in all this is that Kase does not end up on LTIR with a head injury. But seeing as he is pushing to play on Saturday I doubt this happens. I wonder what others think about how the inevitable cap gymnastics are going to play out.
