See trade description.

This is part of a larger franchise arc that I’m working on, but I’m keeping other trades and thoughts out of this to keep the dialogue around Grans.

  1. Beckman, Adam

Additional Details:
I get that you don’t want to move Grans or even believe he’s untouchable.

But humor me, what would it take?

I have visions of a Swedish duo of Brodin and Grans.

I don't think Grans is as untouchable as you suggest. In fact, with the Kings RHD pipeline, he's probably the guy they'd be most willing to move.

His value is probably equivalent to a mid-to-late 1st round pick. The Kings won't want picks in return, but rather something that would help them immediately. Not sure if Fiala is on LA's radar or not, due to his ability to arbitrate his way to UFA next summer. They might be looking for someone a bit younger with a few more years of guaranteed team control.

The assumption is that Fiala signs an extension.

Grans + 1st is on the higher end of what I think we can expect for Fiala, so I don’t think that’s too far off.

there’s an argument to be had around Beckmans value, but I’m not very high on him personally.

The Beckman comment is fair, I think he’ll be a contributing middle 6 guy by next year. But a 1st and a prospect close to the show has got to be the ask. And I think the prospect is the most important piece, and it needs to have top 6 potential.
