I could see the Kings going for something like that, but I still think it's one asset too many. I'd say you'd have to drop one of the 2nds or Akil Thomas and the Kings would go for it.

Given Walker's knee injury I'd shy away from him in a miller deal. Not sure what Kings fans feel about Turcotte and going for it by adding Miller but he'd be more of the player I'd aim to focus a Miller deal around. Going for Grans I'd say Garland would be more fitting. But I like the Myers move.

Thomas looks like he won't be cracking the Kings' roster so basically that preference is if the Canucks want a guy to be a future AHL captain or roll the dice on a 2nd/3rd round pick

Thomas had surgery on both his shoulders and has had a long road to recovery. He has only recently found his game again. The Kings aren't ready to give up on him.
