Description
Ive been in this ****ing rebuild nightmare for many years. Just let me delude myself of how good this team would look if everything broke right

OTT could do some real ****ing damage with UFA and RFAs this year.

Still have the draft capital to dump Zaitsev/MM next season if need be (next season >15MM for Stu/Pinto/Zub)

Went with Juraj, because I love him, but OTT would be just as well served with Nemec or Jiricek

I'd be fine with getting Burakovsky too or in replacement to Giroux and then offersheeting Kakko cause him Stutzle and Kuzmenko could do damage and could help support the offensive second line. Also a 4 million offersheet would put the Rangers in a lot of cap trouble and the compensation is only worth a second. I'd much rather that than spending heaven and hell to get Fiala and then paying him 8+ per season.

Brown is one of our best players. I don't know why you want him out so bad, he amazing at 5 on 5 and on the PK. His only flaw is scoring on breakaways. We can't just keep trading away older players for picks or we'll never get better. I wouldn't rely on Kuzmenko being better than Brown, that's is highly unlikley.

He could go this season if the Sens do not have a roster spot for him down the road but I think that he would be a very important piece for a playoff run.

Probably better off extending brown at this point. The 1st round pick likely wouldn’t help in the Sens window for contention anyway.

I dont know how you can say that after seeing teams in their competitive windows (Tampa, Colorado, Vegas, Calgary) use 1st round picks to grab age-appropriate and cost-controlled players.
