Rathbone trade might not be fair value (I dont know the Kings prospects that well) but I think there is a base there.

Dallas passes, Myers isn't the kind of RD that Jim Nill would want, Washington doesn't have the cap for Boeser so they pass as well.

Caps pass. Boeser is fine but will cost too much for what he does. McMichael+Iorio can get a better player under better terms.

I like the Canes trade, but if you move the first rounder from 2023 to 2024, I do think the Canes accept that. I am pretty sure that Waddell is not looking to move our 2023 first, but who knows.

A 2024 first is useless to Vancouver. The Canucks are looking for young almost NHL ready players and prospects. A 2024 draft pick is a 15 year old who won’t be ready to play for another 5 years
