Description

I took a dive into whether or not the Oilers can keep Jesse, Yamo and Kane. This would be a tall task but not an impossible one. I've moved out some names like Kassian and Barrie, also havent addressed the idea that Smith or Keith could retire, be bought out or be moved elsewhere.
Therefore, I have stuck with Keith and Smith on the roster but would love to explore the idea of finding a different goalie and keeping Brett Kulak over Keith. Korpisalo and Kuemper would be UFA goaltenders I would look into going after. Korpisalo being the more affordable option but Kuemper being the more sure thing.

Not getting that term with Puljuarvi without paying 5+

Goaltending also is ROUGH

Yeah you could be right on the Pulj contract. Also, with that team there we would have the luxury to bump that Puljuarvi AAV up with just shy of 2million in space. May just be wishful thinking on my part. I addressed the goaltending in the description. I'd look at Kumeper or Korpisalo in free agency but not much Holland can do with Smith if he doesnt retire. Could just toss him in the minors and hope he either doesn't report or you can find a trade.
