Trades
1.
WPG
  1. Holloway, Dylan
  2. Kassian, Zack
  3. Puljujärvi, Jesse [RFA Rights]
  4. 2022 1st round pick (EDM)
  5. 2023 1st round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
Absolute Haul. A level prospect (future 2nd liner at worst, should be a high end 2nd liner), a very solid young player, and 2 1sts in exchange for taking on a cap dump, a good 2nd pair DFD with retained salary, a youngish 4th liner, and the main piece of course, a top 3 goalie in the world
EDM
  1. Dillon, Brenden
  2. Harkins, Jansen [RFA Rights]
  3. Hellebuyck, Connor
Additional Details:
Oilers do this to go all in with McDavid and Draisaitl.

**** value is not exact here. A rough outline in value. Smaller Picks and prospects can be added to even out value, don’t yell at me in the comments because this is not the exact trade, just the framework
2.
WPG
EDM
The above trade glitched and didn’t include the retained salary on Dillon, which would be about 1.4 mil for the 2 years
    3.
    WPG
I’m not going to include this trade because I would get screamed at in the comments most likely, but a trade with Montreal involving Pierre Luc Dubois in exchange for Montreals 1st would be very interesting (with more pieces involved). Wright to Winnipeg maybe?? Or, if the pick is 2/3, then Cooley or Savoie would be great as well
      MTL
      4.
      WPG
      1. Luukkonen, Ukko-Pekka [RFA Rights]
      2. Mittelstadt, Casey
      3. 2022 3rd round pick (BUF)
      BUF
      1. Pionk, Neal
      Additional Details:
Not exact value (this applies for all trades, just the main pieces going back). Pionk fills a need in Buffalo (top 4 RD). They move 1 of 3 young talented goalies of the future they have and a forward who just hasn’t worked out for them so far and could use a fresh start
      5.
      WPG
      1. Dadonov, Evgeni
      2. Korczak, Kaedan
      3. 2022 3rd round pick (NYR)
      VGK
      1. Vesalainen, Kristian [RFA Rights]
      Additional Details:
Take on Cap Dump, also move a half decent prospect who could use a fresh start
      6.
      WPG
      1. Protas, Aliaksei
      2. 2022 1st round pick (WSH)
      Additional Details:
Honeslty I wouldn’t pay this much for the play that Wheeler provides but I wouldn’t be surprised if a team does it. He still has a lot of offensive skill and should fit into the top 6 of almost teams. The retained salary makes him hold quite a bit of value. Caps continue to attempt a cup run (even tho they shouldn’t)
      WSH
      1. Wheeler, Blake ($4,125,000 retained)
      2. 2022 3rd round pick (CBJ)
      Additional Details:
This team is going to go through a culture change. Enough of reports of the Jets team, led by Wheeler, reportedly being a bunch of a-holes by those who have worked around the organization. Wheeler is a solid offensive player but the culture change is wanted and needed, and not to mention they have no reason to hold onto him during a rebuild
      7.
      WPG
      WSH
      1. Stanley, Logan
      Additional Details:
Also a part of above trade, forgot to add. Once again, values aren’t exact, just rough ideas
      8.
      WPG
      1. Lysell, Fabian
      Additional Details:
+++ picks and other prospects, Lysell main piece
      BOS
      1. Kassian, Zack ($1,600,000 retained)
      2. Scheifele, Mark
      Additional Details:
Bruins get their 2C they’ve been looking for for so long and Kassian with the retained salary
      9.
      WPG
      1. Mrázek, Petr

I didn’t even look at who’s coming from Winnipeg to Edmonton in that deal just what’s leaving Edmonton and can say very confidently nobody on the jets is worth that package. I don’t mean that as any sort of knock against the jets but cmon multiple firsts and top line player and an A+ prospect.

Pulju top line player and Holloway A+ prospect is a stretch. Pulju plays top line; but so does Evgeny Svechnikov sometimes. That doesn’t make them top line quality players. They can definitely become that; but they aren’t as of right now. An A+ prospect I consider to be a future star, Holloway could maybe be one but is more likely a good 2nd liner. Also; the return here is quite enormous. At worst, a top 3 goalie in the world, and a really solid d man with retained salary is quite the return. Plus a Kassian cap dumo. And again, the trade wasn’t exact as I said

Now don't get ahead of yourself. I understand PLD is worth a lot, but not F*****g Shane Wright. Comparisons include a similar career to Stamkos... 90 points 45-50 goals, solid Defensive ability.

I never said he was. Jets would add for sure here, don’t worry. A trade would be more workable if the pick is 2/3. Either way, I could see something worked out here. I’ve seen a ton of PLD-Montreal mock trades recently, and this would just be an idea

I see your point but Habs probably would rather get a center in the draft this year, and tank next year for a raffle ticket for Bedard. PLD is a very good option to a team that is on the rise (maybe like a Buffalo or Ottawa). Habs just dropped, so they shouldn't be ready to compete.
