The habs would have next to no interest in taking on Dumba. They arent in a spot to be giving up futures for a rental.

The Hans deal doesn’t make any sense for the Habs to make.
And Fiala at 6.5 seems unlikely

I like the idea of Dumba as a Habs but this means he would replace Petry and even then, we cant absorb that much money without anything going your way.

Vanecek (RFA rights) for Talbot

I don't think that the Caps do this. Talbot is going to be 35 years old and $3.7M cap hit, 1 year. It's just not the right return for Vanecek.
