No thanks to this dumping the contract and adding Kunin pretty much even each other out so I see no value for Stolarz being added

2 mil for 1 year of a d man looking to rebound (he can very well become a solid NHL d man still, needs a different scenario. Nashville wasn’t a fit), or 1 year of about 700k if buried. I am willing to bet my entire soul and body that 700k for 1 year is not worth as much negative value as a younger side legit NHL guy. And again, picks can get added or removed from each side. Considering a 4th is the cost to retain about double 700k at the deadline, it would cost at most like a 5th or 6th to dump Myers. Kunin is worth more than a 5th or 6th, no?

His buyout has positive value for the preds.

No joke the Preds will gain 600k cap space. Its only year 2 where there will be a cap hit.
