I pay Vegas to take Pouliot and his contract instead of a no-name because we have nothing important to lose in the expansion draft.

Islanders are looking for a goal scorer to hold Tavares there, let them believe Eberle is the goal scorer they need. Pulock will come here and be very effective offensively and quicky.

Let's pursur Rob Blake that Jeff Carter is getting older and adding RNH will be good now and specially for the Los Angeles future. Let's add a couple of 2nd round pick and get a winning player, with goal scoring touch and experience.
LEADERSHIP is the word.

Again, on the LEADERSHIP and EXPERIENCE side, let's try to bring Jarome for his lash NHL year in his hometown. + he will have a Stanley Cup chance.

    Carter is still effective and really you have just switched cap hits with couple picks. If LA was in a rebuild mode and were trading Carter that would want young players which would give them cap space. Something like Puljujarvi, Nurse and a 1st and more.
    Eberele can't be traded without money coming to the Oilers. Isles would be better to sign Oshie (if wanted to play on the Isles) and keep Pulock and the pick.
    We'll see who Vegas takes, but they will have take a bunch of no bodies to satisfy cap requirement, instead of taking every teams overpaid not wanted players.

    you dont actually believe 32 year old Jeff Carter with 5 years left at over $5M per is worth Nurse, Puljujarvi and a 1st round pick. you're not that stupid right? nobody is.
