I am not sure Devon Toews does anything for that Duchene trade. Sakic apparently balked at a three piece deal at the deadline, and because of the down year Strome had, actually multiple down years, I think it would take more. If I am Colorado, it would take Calvin De Haan, Ryan Pulock, Michael Dal Colle, some salary dump (not entirely sure who) and their 1st round draft pick.

Devon Toews has surprised some people, people are pretty sure that he will be a top 4 defenseman, hamonic has a great contract, young, good potential and lastly strome had a great second half of the season, he is still young and he has put up 50 points. he just needs a change of scenery. Even though this may be a bit of a steal for NYI, Colorado has lost all its leverage since they want Duchene out. Maybe add a bit more but this seems fair, maybe swap toews for MDC?
