    Additional Details:
Bear for Brown is almost all the value in the trade but I think that the little bit remaining cause I think Brown under extension is slightly more valuable than Bear I think that Bokk a prospect that has struggled in Carolina and Keane who is not a highly touted prospect will cover the rest of the cost.

    2. 2024 3rd round pick (OTT)
    Additional Details:
Brown comes with a 4x4 extension.

I also think that this is a Rod Brind'amour player to a tee and that he would thrive in Carolina's system and provide so much while costing so little against the cap. He would also improve the 2nd PP and the PK for Carolina.

The reason why I signed Achan is cause I don't know if Boston qualifies him.

So this is going as he is a free agent signing.

Id imagine Boston qualifies Ahcan, especially because there will be moving pieces on the backend this year. Anything can happen, but id bet on them reaching a deal.

I though so, but you also never know.

He's a 25 year old defender coming out of college and he hasn't been hugely succesful. I would say 90% of the time he would get qualified but there may be something else and he falls to FA.

For this mock he ends up falling to FA. He's not a big piece anyway.

agree why wouldnt they qualify him? boston has 8 current nhl defensemen for 6 spots. one or 2 have to go. zboril didnt resign as a group 6 ufa to sit as a the 7th man. reilly likely moved this offseason. grz might start on ltir. or he could be moved. maybe clifton sits? theres alot of moving parts with boston and the cap gymnastics theyll have to play to land a true 2nd line center.

Just for the purpose of the mock he falls to FA. I think it's unlikely but for the reasons I stated in a previous comment I think there is a small possibility.

He probably is still out though and he may want to look elsewhere where he will get more playing time to establish himself.

Bear does not have much value and has been a healthy scratch recently for Carolina. If we are trading CB28 I rather get another young forward or quality top 4 d-man but why trade him? If he's willing to sign, just keep him, as soon as we trade him we will be looking for another Connor Brown player.
