Few things:
- Keith retires = negative recapture + cap hit in relief
- smith retires would relieve cap space as mentioned by lowetide
- Kane $ depends on what happens with his grievance.
- I DONT WANT TO TRADE JESSE but, oiler MSM and guys in the know have been hinting it. If he part of a package for a legit starting goalie I would feel more at ease.
- Ennis, lazar,and full-time holloway shore up forward depth while the shifting of the dcore transforms it into a very versatile mult-dimensional group.
- A Helly/Skinner tandem would help put this team into contender status real quick. I think if high value futures are needed to get helly, it should be done cause the window is now for this oiler team

seattle need a pp1 quarterback that can get points and transition the puck. Barrie offensive track record is exactly what Seattle are looking for and wont have to pay several million more to try and get klingberg.
