          In my opinion to get Hamonic it would take Puljujarvi.

          I don't think the oilers would do that. They need more young players with lower cap hits for mcdavids big contract. I think overpaying for Strome makes up for it.

          Strome isnt gonna get anything next year maybe a bridge deal depending on next seasons production, Hamonic's on one of the most team friendly contracts in the league and Kulemin and Grobovski are both gone after next year.

          Sorry I meant the oilers are overpaying by trading both nuge and ebs. Both are better players than Strome at this point. The wildcard if what is Strome's ceiling. He seems to be falling out of favor in New York and could use a change of scenery must like ebs could use. I also think that nuge and ebs game is better suited for the eastern conference. Generally smaller faster teams than in the west.

          Strome was a lot better when weight became the coach so he's kind of a wildcard at the moment. And with Sekera going down i'm assuming yall are in the market for a defenseman. And with Hamonic being a RHD his price also does go up.
