I wonder what the price and pros and cons to strome, domi, trochek, copp and possibly rfa strome, or anybody else not qualified that fits that criteria. Will be interesting what the different asks are for that role and if it turns into a 3rd line role or if it can fit the build just right. I think I would sacrifice offense for a little more physical role and face off guy, something a little different than chytil and zibanejad.

I'm on the side that thinks we should spend on a 2C. However, it's risky because Drury will have to pay Laf next year and depending on his 2022-23 season, he could get a big deal, if not then a bridge deal like what I'm expecting Kakko will get this summer. If Drury opts to get a physical 2C who isn't as offensively skilled, you just need to pray that the kids really break out. My AGM kind of sets NYR up for failure after the 22-23 season because there will be no money to give to Laf unless someone like Trouba is traded, plus K'andre will need to get paid.

As a non rangers fan but someone who watched a lot of their playoff games, I think they keep the kid line together unless they start to slump

Probably a good call, I’m always a sucker for the attempt at continued build and attempt to limit the handcuffing similar to buffy, Ladd, and whoever else went to atl after the hawks first cup. I wonder if there’s a spot here for a fully retained 1 year vet or a 1 year buy just to get through til you know more what is coming with kids. Like Bergeron or toews, or something along those lines.
