Sell high on Lindgren before his body breaks down, it will happen sooner rather than later. Kravtsov either makes the team or is traded for a similar prospect swap. Load up on vets chasing a cup. Find a few passable back ups to Igor that Benoit can coach up.

With the other moves the Oilers to make (offload Barrie, try to sign Kane or a replacement), this makes good cap and positional sense for the Oil on the RHD side. At 24, you're concerned Lindgren will be done really soon? I understand he plays hard but how soon do you think his career is done? Not sure if you are aware but Pulju had huge hip surgeries done already a couple years ago...so if you're looking to avoid a player who is young with injury risk...he's not exactly the guys. Has been generally healthier the past 2 years though.

Honestly i think you can replace Lindgren with a cheaper player to play with Fox and sell high on him now. He is great and i dont want to see him go, but would trade him for forward help. I think he just makes sense as a sell high. He will be fine the rest of this contract. His next contract will be a disaster.
