Can't see Arizona taking that package for Chychrun. Beauvillier is older than what they would like in part of a return i would guess, and Salo probably doesn't have enough upside along with being 23 and just finally getting his first games in the NHL.

Varlamov for a 2nd seems to make sense, whether that be from Buffalo or someone else. Bellows doesn't fit the Sabres needs at all while Fitzgerald plays RD which is a need for the Sabres so swapping those two makes zero sense from a Sabres perspective.

Yeah a Fitzgerald deal doesn’t make sense without mayfield going the other way. That being said someone who had terrible goaltending in the playoffs will give up a first for Varly (EDMONTON).

I’ll be honest I don’t even like Chychrun enough to make that deal. The Varly deal makes little to no sense based on the Kuemper trade. Fleury comp is a little more reasonable but it happened at the deadline. Also Chicago probably says no to the DeBrincat offer.
