Bjork? Couple of others too. JFK and Heinen would be top 2 centers, let's not go making to much of 1 playoff game Kuraly is still a grinder not a playmaker. Heinen is leading the AHL in playoff scoring. But ya future is solid. Imagine if they'd taken Barzal and Chabot over Debrusk and Zboril?

Imagine if they took PK Subban or Jamie Benn or Pavel Datsyuk!! Yada yada yada....

Like i just said, you can't hindsight 20/20 draft picks to sound smart. It's a lame move. Debrusk and Zboril could be better pros than Barzal or Chabot for all you know. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. How can you make comments like that when 2 of them have a total of 3 NHL games to their name? It's stupid, stop doing it.

in all fairness it was pretty known that barzal was the best prospect out of what was left at the time and the bruins passed on him 3 times, which still honestly blows my mind.

I can't believe 20+ teams passed on Pastrnak back in 2014! Once again, anyone can do this for any draft. Has Barzal done well in the NHL? He's had as much success as Debrusk and Senyshyn have there. In all fairness, Barzal better learn how to put the puck in the net. 14g -- 12g -- 27g -- 10g is pretty pathetic in the high scoring WHL. 203 WHL career games, 63 goals. Zach Hamill was more impressive in the "dub" and he's in Europe now. What's my point? Instead of just assuming every player the Bruins passed on will be stud NHL players and every player the Bruins took will bust, let's take a step back and let things play out. Premature chest thumping for prospects that haven't sniffed the NHL is laughable. "Grass is always greener!"

lmao you my friend are riddled with salt. Considering Barzal was ranked around the #9-12 player in the draft and the bruins drafted 2 guys that werent even supposed to go in the first round, yeah I think it plays a part in this. "In all fairness" Barzal is literally known to be a playmaker, has been labeled as one of the best, if not the best, possession forwards from that draft yet yeah lets compare his goals because that is the end all of success. Not to mention he never got a shot to play actual minutes this year and proceeded to single handedly carry the Thunderbirds to the memorial cup, averaging almost 2 points per game while winning MVP of the WHL playoffs. But yeah lets bring up his goal production lol
