Trades:
Keep the team intact as much as possible but drouin retained is cheaper then burakovsky

AHL:
Fill with any prospects and ahl vets who can step in

Goalie:
Fleury comes to replace Kuemper, keep him if you like but don’t think they will, another option is if fleury signed for less don’t have to buyout Johnson.

Defence:
Girard has one more year till they need to extend newhook, byram and Nate. Keep the defence mobile and as intact as possible, Manson stays for term

Forwards:
Last trade with MTL worked great, try another, Drouin replaces burakovsly and Lehkonen and nichuskin return. Newhook replaces kadri. He doesn’t have to be as good as kadri this team is still loaded

Overall: expect this team to be a cup contender again and hoping to copy the lightning with a back to back

That’s stupid value on Drouin, MTL declines. But in reality Drouin is the type of forward Bednar and the Avs do NOT want. Kuemper is a significantly better option than MAF, I don’t know but one won the Stanley cup not at 100% the other got benched for game 7 of the 1st round.
