Description
NOTE: Simmonds not LTIR, i just see him being up and down from the minors when its appropriate, so didnt want his cap against the books and put him as a scratch. Similar to Kyle Clifford last season

No real incentive for the Devils to do the trade, its a fair offer but they really dont get anything out of it... I just wanted Miles Wood

Realistically sign a UFA D man at 950k (obviously wont be PK Subban) but who knows

Thats a scary duo in net, but Im not sure Dubas will make a big splash in the goalie market, its rather slim pickins for elite goaltending if you havent drafted and developed them

I really can’t see Ottawa retaining 4.6M for only a 1st when brown is still a really good player even at his full cap hit.

Once again, deluded Toronto fans refusing to give up on the Muzzin-back-to-Los-Angeles wet dream and still flogging the dead horse they had to dig up first . . .

. . . as if Muzzin would approve the trade to begin with.

Just out of curiosity, how does this segment of the Maple Leafs fanbase think the mechanics of this transaction would unfold? Doesn't it occur to anyone that before Dubas could make this offer to Blake, he'd have to go to Muzzin and ask him to waive his NTC?

And why would we trade a perfectly good almost-9-years-younger fourth-line center whose cap hit is 30% of Muzzin's for him?

I guess I'd counter with, why wouldnt Muzzin go back to somewhere that hes had success before?
