Description
Ideally i want to get johnny gaudreau but for this one ill look for a different route to take

-gotta dump jvr contract and add picks to arizona maybe eat some salary to lessen the picks added, they can dump him at the deadline for more picks. hes still a solid 20-25 goal scorer just not worth 7mil aav even in his final year

-Move on from lindblom and get a mid round pick from a team that needs bottom 6 scoring (could be anywhere)

-trade konecny/frost/pick for nylander, i dont see frost blossoming under torts so try to move him with tk for nylander, idk if a third is enough could add more picks or another prospect like foerster/ratcliffe/wisdom

-sign giroux and burakovsky, i think both aav's are about what they will demand, giroux could take less to go to more of a contender to chase a cup but i want him to come back to philly (unlikely tho unfortunately)

-good mix of vets and see what the younger guys can offer, if they can stay relatively healthy and the young guys play decent this team would contend for a playoff spot and can maybe get hot like 2010. a lot of ifs but theres not much they can do with the state of things right now

-draft either nemec or jiricek (preferable nemec, think he has more this era dman upside as opposed to the more old school type of dman in jiricek but would be happy with either)

I don’t think G comes back unfortunately. Saw the description about no Johnny Hockey but I would rather the Flyers land a Johnny Hockey or Forsberg as opposed to Burakovsky. This team needs high end talent and I don’t think Burakovsky is that guy. Ultimately good job like that Nylander trade a lot

I think Philly would still be adding to the Toronto trade. The difference between TK and WN is probably a late first, not a troubled prospect and a third

I don't think so. Tavares' ability to create offence is getting worse, not better. IF they trade Nylander it needs to be part of a slam dunk upgrade that makes the team better. A decent middle-6 forward, a failed prospect and a late 3rd aren't the secret sauce.
