I really like that flames trade. It’s a Win-Win. You’re trading a solid mid-line forward for great draft picks. Even though Monahan and Lucic have high cap hits it helps Buffalo hit the cap minimum plus they can mentor the younger players.

In this case you send UPL to Rochester to keep getting starts. No point in him starting once a month

I think he’s better off playing in the NHL this season. It’s going to be a tough decision on what they do. My thinking is with a 3 goalie tandem is just play the hottest goalie. If UPL played like he did last year in Buffalo than he would get a lot of starts.

I’m assuming it’s the Quinn-Girgensons-Peterka line.
Quinn and Peterka drive the offense while Zemgus helps defensively and on the forecheck. Asplund and Olofsson need to be together. Okposo and Cozens work extremely well together.
