Good idea. If I'm COL I take the final year of Lehtonen over Niemi. Gives DAL that $1,400,000 more in cap relief in exchange for D Stephen Johns.

Not a horrible offer, but thinking Dallas says No. If Dallas is going to give up that valuable of assets, thinking they'll want a LHD, and likely one with not so many miles on the tires. Doubt Dallas would want to make the investment in Grigorenko given his early career, they'd like to see Nichushkin back, of which a lot could be known on that situation in the next few weeks. Big off-season ahead for us all, begin the countdown...
