My opinion on what Adams should do

Really the biggest thing I did was sign 2 massive FAs.

Klingberg signing: Buffalo really started to turn the corner towards the end of last year, even going toe to toe with the Leafs in the outdoor game. This team likely won’t make the playoffs, but could push for a spot with all of the Boston injuries being in place. Klingberg could really help this team push for that spot and could be a veteran in place when the team starts to really get good. With this signing, you also don’t have to rush anyone into the first pair and you can have Power play second pairing until he has proven himself as a top 2 D to play top pair with Dahlin on RD at that time. Once the top pair is Power-Dahlin, Klingberg could still be a capable 2RD, or if he doesn’t fit, he could be traded as well because his offensive skills would make him a solid PP QB on most teams.

Campbell signing: made for the same reasons as Klingberg. This team is solid, but Anderson could retire and then you still need a starter to be in place to help teach UPL or one of Levi/Portillo depending on who fits best in Buffalo. So Campbell is especially just a REALLY solid stop gap until the younger guys start coming in.
