Don’t love the idea of sending Tony on his way for half a million less in cap space. I would say Tony is by far the better player and brings a fiery spirit that the Hurricanes need in their lineup.

What is ideal? Boeser isn’t much of an improvement. Pysyk and Staal are our D adds? Klyington is a fine 3LD but isnt ready for 1RD duty.

And we only have 1 extra player

Not ideal. Flames say no and Canes shouldn’t want Kylington to be their 1RD next season. TDA is more valuable than a couple of picks and shouldn’t be moved unless a suitable replacement is found. 3rd pair is woof.
