Small price to pay for a reasonably decent young goaltender. However, the Sabres have a ton of young goaltenders in the system. I don’t know what they do with another one once more of these guys are signed and need to play.

Very well said.
He may actually have more value than a 7th.
While e was drafted in the seventh round, he now has 15 games of NHL experience, including one perfect 10 for 10 save playoff game.
Regardless, in addition to Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, Portillo and Levi, the Sabres just drafted another one in the second round that they thought could have been a first round pick, Topias Leinonen the top European GK.
