Martinez gets a decent return probably they won't kick in a 2nd to move him.

I hope Veleno makes the team full time. I still have very high hopes for him, mostly because of the exceptional player status and numbers he put up in the Q.
He seems like a guy who puts in a lot of effort on or off the ice to improve and he had some good games last year.

I like Kadri and what he could bring to the Wings. Signing him until he's 37 is a hard pill to swallow but that type of term and money is probably what it's going to take in this market.

Last season's squad was fun to watch especially with the rookies looking so good for the future.
This team would be even more fun to watch. I'm excited just looking at this roster since it's probably very close to what the roster will look like.

Vegas has to move his salary or let Hague walk. I'm betting on them dumping his salary but I understand your point. Detroit may make a move on Hague, whose comp would only be a 2nd if his new contract is under a 4.2 avg. As for the Martinez deal I proposed...McIsaac is a former 2nd with a lot of potential. He's fought the injury bug but is exactly the type of player Vegas is going to need in their bottom pair for the next few seasons. Detroit didn't qualify Juolevi yesterday so the deal would need to be altered from what I proposed anyway. I wouldn't have a problem with Detroit giving up McIsaac and a 2nd in 2024 for Martinez.

Yeah Vegas is in a spot having to pick the vets or young guys. I think Martinez is the odd guy out and they probably do end up selling low. A 3rd and a blah prospect might be enough.
