Description
If Bowman GIVES Vegas both TVR and Kruger without getting a decent pick in return I am going to lose my mind. Here is why:

Kruger salary:
2017-18 -- $3,475,000 ($2,000,000 signing bonus)
2018-19 -- $2,300,000
Kruger's paid playing salary after July 1st 2017 for the remainder of his contract (2 years) -- $3,775,000 or also seen as $1,887,500 per year. Yes that is right, less than 2M per year for a two time cup winner with some of the best defensive and shutdown capabilities in the league. Someone who makes team Sweden every year for every tournament.
To budget teams that are never worried about the salary cap or even teams in a rebuild that still need decent players on their roster, Kruger would be a good acquisition.

If they lose TVR they HAVE to replace him with someone else. They have ZERO capable RHD in the system right now so he will have to be replace from the outside.

I cannot get over the Panik signing. The man wasn't expecting even close to that. When their is no negotiating happening you are doing your job wrong. Simple as that, Stan. Same thing with the Kempny signing.

Overall the Blackhawks will barely be able to roster a team next year unless a big contract is moved. Well done Mr. Bowman.

Anaheim has 9 capable D-men and will lose 1 in expansion. With this trade they still have 7 and prospects in the system.
ANA
  1. Krüger, Marcus
  2. 2017 2nd round pick (CHI)
Additional Details:
Maybe this takes a 1st round pick instead. So be it, I'd still do it.

Remember this is a post July 1st trade after signing bonuses so Kruger's salary is only really $1,887,500 per year.

I hear what you're saying in the description 100%! That won't be nearly enough for ANA. Montour played the playoffs next to Fowler on the top line. Not saying he's their best Dman, but they believe in him.

Okay then maybe the trade is Manson. He has a lower ceiling but is more experienced. The point was still to show that Bowman royally F'd this cap situation up to beyond where I'd even imagined. And he will continue to make ridiculous deals that hurt the team now and in the future.
