Description

I'm obsessive with the Jackets, but with the Preds I'm more of a casual fan. So this may be a tad off. I threw it together mostly due to a debate with a friend who seemed to think that losing Jeannot was a prerequisite for any Tkachuk adventures.

I gave Tkachuk the Gaudreau contract. Personally I'd hope Poile can negotiate him down to less, but we'd have to see.

Yes, it's a lot to give up. I'm mostly not all that big on going after Tkachuck in general, for either of my teams. Again, done to prove a point with a friend. ;)

Incidentally, you can pretty easily see the first indication of how casual I am on this - I completely forgot to do anything with Trenin.

Send a scratch and Evangalista down to the ahl and sign Trenin and you have a 22 man roster. long term would need more movement as one of Granlund or Ekholm would need trades to extend Jeannot and carrier. Overall not bad at all. Trading tomasino hurts for sure. Tomasino should be a top 6 this season, L’Heureux is a top prospect, Sissons is a top 9, Fabbro should be worth a first so it’s pretty close to what I’ve seen in the asking price.

I’d like to see Jeannot - Johansen- Tkachuk as I think that would be a nasty line
