I'm not really sure why Anaheim would be trading a young asset that they have multiple years of control on for a dump, 3rd, 7th, and one year of a 30+ year old dman?

There's really no need to McGinn in Buffalo. They have plenty of bottom 6 guys already and didn't bother to re-sign several from last season. Blueger would warrant more interest because he plays center, and fills a role where Buffalo could upgrade (Defensive face-off winning center). Not much else from Pittsburgh fills a need for the Sabres (based on what Pens ACGM's seem willing to move).

Anaheim is a building team trying to develop good young players like Comtois, not take on aged veterans like Zucker and Dumoulin. I can see us paying a fourth to take on those two players (without any retention which we certainly don't need) if they came with your 2023 second and the New Jersey third.
