I don’t see the point in a Bob buyout when you’re only saving about $400k. He’s at $6.67m on the cap + Varlamov at $3m is basically Bob’s $10m salary. Doesn’t seem worth it.

I made this to see what his buyout is but I see you’re statement. And can agree. Maybe a different signing will work as a back up or varly signs cheaper

Could also hold off on a Bob buyout for another year and it may not be as bad

edit: yeah, if a buyout is the direction you want to go. 2024 makes more sense. He has 3 years left at $10m and a buyout is $6.67m for two years and then $1.67m for two years. That seems like a better option to me.

Yeah that’s not bad. But they gotta fix the d. So I was trying to see if it works with sanheim and severson somehow. No idea what they will sign for but Florida taxes we’ll lack there of is super beneficial

I think they could nab one, but not both. I’d say Sanheim will be around $5.5m and Severson maybe $6.5m on their next deals, if I had to guess.
