Kane Extension

See here’s my main problem with the whole Kane idea. If you’re keeping Kane and Pavs then you’re keeping the same defense which isn’t good enough imo. We have forward help on the way. We did well in this years draft adding defenseman but those guys are a few years away. I’d rather skip Kane and have all of Bourque, Wyatt, and Stank in the lineup. Use the Kane money on a defenseman

It’s not a bad idea. Tbh I wonder if they would let Pavs walk, keep Kane, and then take the Pavs money to upgrade the D. If we take Kane, give up THAT package and let him walk, I really don’t see how it’s worth it for Dallas. If we’re talking pure rental for Kane I absolutely can’t see one of the big 3 being involved

Like I said to you in that recent post about Harley, I really do believe Harley and Miller as a duo will shine so bright that it’s not as bad as we think. Defense could be better yes but I think they’ll surprise

The way I see it is Pavs money is Hintz’ raise. The defense for me comes down to can Esa be more offensive and improve his transition game in a proper system. I really do think he can be a Trouba type player
