I don't really see Armia as a useless hockey player. Not the best contract at them moment for sure.

Nowadays GMs don’t care if you are decent or bad
If you are overpaid or your team need to move cap out, you have to pay !

Look at Oliver Bjorkstrand, he is a young top 6 RW and CBJ only got a 3rd and 4th for him

Armia had an horrid season and MTL need to move cap, it would cost a 2nd + a former 2nd round pick player to move Armia

Something like Armia + COL 2nd RD pick + one of Oliver Kapanen or Jayden Struble

Bjorkstrand seemed to be everyone saying to CBJ that you dont just pick up a free agent of that caliber for free. The new team was the only one willing to help them out in a sense. Though i love seeing the gms force teams to actually give up good players to shed cap instead.
