I do believe a defenseman will be traded at some point this season and I think its gotta be POJ. I feel like him and Kapanen could be packaged for an upgrade at forward. A couple options are Duclair, Barbashev, Crouse, and maybe a few others but those are the guys that stand out to me. Idk when that trade would happen but I guess it would be sometime before the TDL.

I dont see how we would. Dumoukin is expiring and we likely aren't resigning him. We have 18 mil in cap space in the offseason to sign Jarry, Heinen, Blueger, Smith, O'Connor, and Kapanen and that's without trades. Also our younger guys will be making the push next year so cap space wise we are pretty good for next year

jarry would want a pay day and guenz after that. and you need to resign those guys like you said too

At most 5.75 for Jarry. We will be fine. Also there is no one expiring in 2 years except Guentzel

Blues can't add any cap right now unless do something else. They are actually over the cap with a 23 man roster. The $950k more that Kapanen makes than Barbeshev won't work as of now.
