Jackets decline. Tarasov will probably be the starter by 2024, and he is the only goalie prospect in the system.

Im assuming here that Elvis remains the starter. You could sub in one of ****emo/Grundstrom in for Vilardi maybe. I imagine one of those guys breaks out and interests the Blue Jackets

And I'm telling you as a Jackets fan that Tarasov is a non-starter unless you're sending a goalie prospect back. The Jackets have no room for any mid-tier forward prospects. They have literally a single goalie prospect. There is no trade to be made here, specifically. I'm sure there are other teams who have multiple goalie prospects who do in fact need forwards. It's just not Columbus.

Elvis probably isn't the starter long term. It pains me to say that, but from what I've gleaned, we fully expect Tarasov to replace him as the starter as soon as 23-24.

Maybe take a look at Buffalo's system? Or Askaraov with the Preds?
