I don't think that we would trade Helge Grans (drafted 35th overall) in 2020 for the unsigned Tyler Kleven (drafted 44th overall in 2020), let alone a potential top-6 forward like Gabe Vilardi, let alone an actual NHL top-4 defenseman with more than 200 games on his resume like Matt Roy.

Both teams that aren’t the kings take those offers gladly.

Though correct me on the Ottawa one because I don’t know Kleven’s value because I’ve never heard of him.

kleven is a former second round pick LHD with high upside. Only reason he isn't signed is because he's at north dakota. LA has a ton of good young forwards and some young RHD that need playing time, that's why I think they would consider this deal
