helping vegas while also helping ourselves. we'd also need to trade for a backup. i picked hill because he's a pending UFA and was the cheapest guy contract wise that i could find that could be reasonably acquired but lmk if my assessment was wrong/if you have other ideas, because we would need another backup if we moved varly and the FA options left are terrible. is brossoit healthy enough to actually play? he could be another option but i feel like i heard rumors he'd be out to start the season.

Sharks accept but to be fair Hill only has a value of about a 4th right now.
and unless Lehnr is moved Vegas cant afford that expensive of a backup unless he is out long term with injury.

lehner’s out the entire season, they announced it today. varly has the same cap hit but is a rental so could be a perfect fit

I think if SJ is trying to win, you keep Reimer. With the injury and slightly cheaper contract, if you can get a 3rd for Hill take it now. If SJ slips, at the TDL they can always flip Reimer and bring up Mann.
