See there? Ottawa has 6 guys in the top-65 and several other guys that could get there

They're not going to spend prime assets to get another forward who is older and UFA at the end of the season

That's an insane price for a rental too

I agree, I said doubtful in the description... but if they are making a run at the playoffs, I would say that adding Kane and McCabe at the deadline would be a big dark horse bump!

The price is not as big as you think you see, it's more of a bump up, especially if you consider these moves would only be made if they are pushing into the playoffs...

It still gives Ottawa a bit of flexibility to add more at the TDL.

As I said doubtful but dark horse move...
