Bolland would just be put on LTIR, not buried.

Schmaltz and Panik play the opposite sides. To be more specific most scoring forwards prefer to have their stick on the inside of the ice when controlling the puck. You get a better shooting angle and can protect the puck better. Checking line forwards are often times the ones that don't follow this.
