Description
Would Robertson not be the perfect add? As long as it doesn’t lose Connor/ehlers/perfetti in the process, just not sure what Dallas way forward is?

Obviously not on a offersheet and some cap taken back, but could be a interesting blockbuster with bowness, now the jets coach.

Of course Robertson would be nice to have on the Jets, but this might not be worth it imo.
And what do you do with the cap problems at this point?

Edit after reading Birtles own comment: I spoke too soon...

More of a bored build than anything close to realistic, just a little jealous of the jets twin to the south lol, damn nice start in Dallas with tender, dman, and Robertson. But also chaos with vet contracts. Just wish Chevy decided to double down on current nucleus and get into the fight(conversation) in central or out and load up on 23/24/25 picks. I hate in between or foot in both camps.

Couldn't agree with you more.
And it's not like the Jets have an abundance of defensive prospects and are a good scoring forward and a steady backup goalie short...which should be an equation possible to solve.

I’d much rather the jets treat it as if they were a junior team and only have a limited window to get good. Bottom out, get a bunch of picks in a 3 year window where they are all a similar age and take a 5/7 year run, see how they do, and go all in and see if they can get a parade or two, then bottom out and do it all again over any amount of bubbling playoffs. Franchise scared of the low years and probably want everything they can to keep a full building every night. I think that is going to burn them in the long run.
