I'm not convinced this gets them closer to the Cup. Puljujarvi and Barrie both posted good to great on-ice goal stats last season and I don't know why that would change.

Again, how many times do I have to say this.

Zona wants a top prospect, a good young cost controlled player and a 1st. You gave them a 1st, a decent cost controlled player and a pending UFA.

May be right about the prospect which we can throw in there, but at least know what you are talking about before replying. No pending UFA in this trade.

I love Jesse and Barrie is great at what he does as well. Just those two cost t0o much money for their roles on the team. Jesse is on our third line and Foegele can almost do just as much as he can on that line. Think you got to take the Top 4 D with a great contract over those 2.

Jesse isn't "on our third line" though, you just made that up. He played top-6 most of last year and he played top-6 most of pre-season. The fact that you think Foegele can do almost as much shows how little you're aware of just how good Puljujarvi's results were last season.

Chychrun is an injury prone 2nd pairing guy who is overhyped because of hot shooting luck against bottom feeders in the weak Covid SW league 2 years ago. His own coaches would rather run Shayne Gostisbehere (!!) against elites than him. If that's not a Red Flag Waving I don't know what is.
