Why would Vancouver do that? 2 rentals plus Sebrango and a 4th for Horvat? That offer is easily beaten. Why would we trade Hronek? He's having his best season. Veleno is starting to emerge as well.

Vancouver is insulted by the Horvat return.

Karlsson is 32 hasn't played more than 56 games in the last 4 seasons and NO ONE is retaining $5.75M for 4 more years.

Vancouver passes big time, Yzerman would offer up a far more competitive offer than that mess.

Mike Grier isn't retaining nearly $29,000,000 on Erik Karlsson for the next 5 years plus eating slightly over $5,000,000 on Brent burns for the next 3 years. And Yzerman isn't giving up Veleno and Hronek for an aging RD who most of the time can't stay healthy. only reason Karlsson is playing as great as he is. Is because no more Brent Burns.
